BOXcontrol

Crate-sorting using camera technology

Opsis BOXcontrol works with state-of-the-art means of detection. As with human beings, the camera system can "learn" certain box images and recognise them among all other prevailing types, whereby it is important that the box recognition is based on the efficient full-colour correlation. This is where Opsis GmbH's 15 years of experience as market leader in this field comes in.

Opsis BOXcontrol consists of a light tunnel with integrated industrial lighting, a CCD colour camera, and a switching cabinet with a PC and an operating unit.

And this is what opsis BOXcontrol can do:

  • High-performance version for up to around 1,000 types of crates which can be selected from almost any number of lines. The sorting objectives of each learned box can also be changed any time.
  • Low-cost version for breweries with up to 16 types and up to 16 lines
The crates are detected individually on a conveyor belt, and in a special version (opsis PALcontrol) even crates stacked on pallets.
  • The detection is not dependent on the speed of the belt. About 5,000 crates per hour can be processed at a belt speed of up to 2 m/s.
  • A high rate of identification security of up to 99,9 %, in some cases when logos or crates are even damaged or soiled.
  • And last but not least: highly efficient technology which you can afford!
