SEALchecker
100% check of the seal, so-called plastic compounds, on caps and lids

When machines are used to place seals on can lids and container caps the production times are becoming shorter and shorter. It is thus becoming more and more difficult to evenly apply the plastic compound which has to ensure 100% sealing of the caps and lids. Testing of the compound immediately after the application will therefore be essential in the future if you do not wish to have an unacceptable number of complaints. The opsis SEALchecker is thus the untiring and reliable helper for your production plant, in two versions:

3D testing for medium to fast production times. Some examples:

  • Testing of the compound application in large area caps, e.g. so-called 5 gallon bottles for water dispensers, capacity 6 parts/s, picture 1)
  • Testing of the sealing washer insert ("liner") in plastic caps, capacity up to 20 parts/s

2D high speed testing, some examples: 

  • Testing of the seals in can lids, capacity up to 55 parts/s, picture 2 
  • Compound testing in crown corks, capacity approx. 42 parts/s
